Styles / Pruning / Training: Pinch or cut out unwanted growth. Clippings can easily be started.
Light / Water requirements: Full sun is best. Water every one to two days during the summer, every three to four days during the winter.
Propagation: Jade plants are very easy to grow from leaf cuttings. During the spring remove a leaf and allow it to dry for a day or two, then pin to the surface of compost.
Repotting Special Instructions: Very delicate roots so repot with care.
Insects and Diseases: Mealybugs can be an issue and Aphids can attack the flower stalks. Jade plants are mainly free of disease.
Temperature Requirements: Winter temperature should not fall below 50 degrees F., although it will tolerate slightly lower temperatures.
