This is high fired clay that holds moisture without saturating the roots and

breaks down very slowly so it is good for a couple of years between pottings.

It is usually mixed with organic matter and/or Lava or similar expanded rock

as needed. This is the best additive for helping aerate your soil and

promoting moisture and goodroot development.
